Water Purification Tablets, also known as Chlorine Tablets, are utilized in DayZ to decontaminate contaminated water found in Canteens, Gasoline Canisters, and Water Pouches. These tablets can be stacked in the player's inventory for easy access. Unclean water obtained from ponds or rivers pose a significant risk of Cholera infection when consumed by the player. However, purified and clean drinking water sourced from a water pump does not require the use of these tablets.
